Minimize  Database Developer

Database Developer


We are searching for a database developer to join our team.   Our company develops software for state and federal government health agencies.  We employ Agile development methodologies which result in a unique, fun, and flexible team environment while providing an opportunity for our employees to grow and learn. 

Requirements

Applicants should have an understanding of core relational database concepts as well as experience with database development in both T-SQL and PL/SQL and have the ability to optimize and tune stored procedures. In addition, experience with team-oriented development projects (especially those using Agile methodologies such as Scrum) is a significant advantage for the applicant. Further qualifications include the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
 

Skills

- Detail oriented

- Able to follow direction from team leads

- Capable of analyzing and solving complex problems

- Produce efficient, clean, and well-commented code

- Must be able to work in a cross-functional team environment

- 3+ years of T-SQL and PL/SQL programming experience

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to present and effectively explain technical information

 

Responsibilities

- The selected applicant will be responsible for the analysis, design, development and support of web-based data driven applications.

  

Additional responsibilities include the following:

- Development of custom software solutions that meet the requirements of the end users. 

- Maintenance and support of existing application systems. 

- 24 x 7 on-call availability.

Experienced .NET Developer

Requirements

Applicants should have a strong background in VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.  In addition, experience with team-oriented development projects (especially those using Agile methodologies such as Scrum) is a significant advantage for the applicant. Experience with WCF, N-Tier architecture, Crystal Reports and Silverlight is preferred.

Minimize  EXPERIENCED QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER

Experienced Quality Assurance Engineer

Custom Data Processing is searching for experienced Quality Assurance Engineers to test their world class software solutions. CDP, Inc. is a leader in the design, development and implementation of software solutions for environmental health, CMS/EMR, WIC/EBT, mobile, home healthcare, food safety and electronic document management. 

Requirements 

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing both manual and automated test scenarios to ensure that code deliverables meet business requirements. In this role, you will document test results, report deficiencies and track code defects to closure. At least 2 years’ quality assurance experience actively working in a test engineer role is a requirement.

 

Skills

- Proficiency in designing manual test cases with the goal of creating effective automation scenarios
- Understanding and/or working knowledge of SQL/Oracle    (Should be able to write basic queries and have understanding of relational database)
- Knowledge and understanding of issue life cycles, development methodologies and testing techniques
- General technical background, (example: familiar with ‘terms’ such as TCP/IP, FTP, SSL)
- Skilled in working with MS Office suite or similar desktop application
- Organized and detail-oriented with excellent written and  oral communication skills
- Team player that works well with others
- Working knowledge of Windows and Web-based applications
- Ability to work independently and meet schedule/rollout deadlines

 

Responsibilities 

The selected applicant will work under the direction of the QA Manager.  The applicant must: 

- Understand and execute test scenarios written with moderate detail. 
- Record test case results and provide status.
- Document and manage issues in a professional manner in a defect tracking system. 
- Gather necessary documentation, recreate steps for issues, and perform validation of fixes. 
- Maintain systems in lab/QA environment.  
- Perform routine QA lab system maintenance activities as needed.  

 Preferred

- Experience using Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio, Test Professional and SharePoint
- Familiarity with SCRUM/Agile development methodology 

Plus

- Knowledge of Women Infants & Children [WIC]  and/or Health Care Programs & Systems
- Help desk experience
- Retail experience
